css - certified symbiotic system
From impression taking up to the tension-free,
precisely fitting prosthesis
(Product information: ► bredent-casting technique)
css is a certified system (in accordance with ISO 9001) for the production of precisely fitting dental prosthesis from impression taking all the way to integration.
Symbiotically (Greek „Symbiosis“ = Cohabitation, figuratively the cooperation) structured, it only functions if all parties work together for the mutual benefit, sensibly interacting like the cogs of a precision clockwork.
The System
The certified system consists of the:
1. Material symbiosis (PDF: ► Diagram [360 kb])
2. Standardization of work processes
Chemical and physically coordinated products (material symbiosis) are defined therein, and work processes (manuals „Optimized modeling, from impression taking to the one piece cast in combination technique“) are combined and standardized between dentist and dental technician in such a manner that precisely fitting, enduringly reproducible prosthesis are produced in an economic way.
These products are developed, manufactured and marketed by bredent in Senden, Germany under the highest quality requirements.
css is modularly structured, and continuously advanced and updated.
The Advantages

Dental practice: Impression taking
Fig. 2: breciform D – the fast open impression
The position of the implants can be easily recognized and thus the tray can be easily, quickly and reliably customized.
Dental practice: Impression taking
Fig. 3: breciform D – convenient for the patient
Thanks to the perfectly designed tongue rest and rounded rims, stress to the patient can be eliminated to a high degree.
Dental practice: Impression taking
Fig. 4: breciform D – with occlusal stops for edentulous ridges
Sterilizable bar-shaped and triangular stops allow reliable and accurate impression taking also n edentulous ridges and prevents the impression from being "pressed through".

brecision offers identical or better contraction values than a polyether impression material, combined with the advantages of an A silicone, e.g. easy demolding and pleasant taste.
No significant change in contraction after 2 hours.

Optimized Modelling
describes the fabrication procedure from impression taking to the completed prosthetic restoration in two parts. Using a flowchart, safe processing of the materials is illustrated and working times are reduced considerably. Work processes in the dental practice and laboratory are standardized.
Courses
bredent offers introductory courses and advanced level courses with a final test in the end. The courses for dental practices and dental laboratories are held separately. Impression taking and the proper fabrication of the models is demonstrated for the » practice. For the » laboratory, the course "Fabrication of a complex implant restoration" demonstrates the handling of the necessary materials and the principle of the material symbiosis.
